Why is a Button in the ENS App Greyed Out or Inactive?

Greyed-out buttons are usually a sign your wallet isn’t connected properly

If a button in the ENS App appears inactive, disabled, or greyed out, it’s usually caused by a wallet connection issue or something interfering with your browser.


How to Fix It:

  • Disconnect and reconnect your wallet

  • Refresh the page

  • Try a different browser or wallet

  • Disable any browser extension blockers

  • If you're using a hardware wallet, ensure your firmware and wallet app are fully up to date
