Find the owner of an ENS name

Open the name, check its contact details, then try the owner's other names and X.

Anyone can register a .eth name. Everything an owner adds to their name is optional, and anyone can see it. To reach an owner, use the contact details they chose to add to their names.

Tips for reaching an owner

  1. Search for the name in the ENS App or ENS Explorer and open its page.

  2. Look for contact details, such as an email, a website or an X account. They show on the name's page.

  3. No details? Select the owner in the Owner row. It shows their address, or their name if they have set one.

  4. On the owner's page, look through the names under Names. Another name may carry contact details.

  5. Still nothing? Search for the name on X. Owners often put it in their bio.

Some owners stay private on purpose. ENS cannot pass on a message.
