ENS ownership is public on the Ethereum blockchain. When someone registers an ENS name, the owner's wallet address is visible to anyone. However, no personal information is collected beyond this blockchain data - owners can remain anonymous.
Find the Owner of a Name
To see which wallet address owns an ENS name:
Open the ENS App
Search for the ENS name
Navigate to the Ownership tab
The owner's wallet address displays here.
Find Names Owned by an Address
To see which ENS names a wallet address owns or manages:
Open the ENS App
Search for the wallet address
View names owned or managed by that address
This includes registered .eth names and onchain DNS names.
Contact an Owner
There is no direct way to contact an ENS name owner. However, you can try:
Check the Name's Records
Some owners set social media links, websites, or email addresses on their name. View the name's profile in the ENS App to check.
Check Other Names They Own
The same wallet may own other names with contact information set—particularly their Primary Name.
