Contacting an ENS name owner

ENS names are owned by wallet addresses, not personal accounts. Owners can remain anonymous unless they choose to share contact information.

Look up who owns a name

  1. Search for the ENS name

  2. Open the Ownership tab to see the wallet address that owns the name

Check the name's records

Some owners add contact details to their name β€” look for social media links, websites, or email addresses in the name's profile records.

Look up the profile

  1. Search for the ENS name

  2. Open the Profile tab to see records on that name

Check other names the wallet owns

The same wallet may own other names with records set up, such as a Primary Name with social links.

Find names owned by a wallet

  1. Search for the wallet address

  2. View all names owned or managed by that address

Other ways to reach out

  • OpenSea β€” look up the wallet address to see activity and any linked social accounts. You can also make offers on names listed there.

  • Social media β€” search for the .eth name on platforms like Twitter/X. Users often include their ENS name in their profile.

  • Blockscan Chat β€” Etherscan's wallet-to-wallet messaging service. If the owner logs into Etherscan, they'll see messages sent to their address.
