No. A name is held by the wallet that registered it, and the contracts have no function that would let anyone else move it, take it back, or hand it to someone else.

A .eth name lives in the ENS registry, a set of contracts on Ethereum. The registry records one controlling wallet for each name. Changing who holds a name, or what it points to, needs a signature from that wallet.

Anyone can renew a name, including someone who does not hold it. Only the holding wallet can transfer owner. The contracts include no function for forcibly moving a name to anyone else, and no override that can be applied on request.

You can try to reach the holder yourself. The name's profile page in the ENS App can show information about them, with some holders listing contact details in their profile records.

Every .eth name has an expiry date, followed by a grace period. The holder can renew at any point up to the end of that grace period. Only if they let it run out is the name released.
