Add Multi-Chain Wallet Addresses

Receive crypto payments across multiple blockchains by adding Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and other wallet addresses to your ENS name.

Updated over a week ago

Good to Know

  • You need to connect with the wallet set as the Manager of the name to edit address records

  • The ETH Address record is required for receiving payments on Ethereum and for setting a Primary Name

  • Over 100 chains are supported, including Ethereum, Bitcoin, Base, Optimism, Arbitrum, Solana, and more

  • Each chain's address record is independent β€” adding an ETH address doesn't set addresses for other chains

  • Updating address records requires a transaction on Ethereum Mainnet with gas fees paid in ETH

What does it do?

Adding wallet addresses on your ENS name lets you receive payments sent to that ENS name, instead of the long complex hex address.

Adding wallet addresses for different chains, gives different routing addresses for payments on each of those chains.

More than 100 chains are supported including Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Bitcion, Doge, Solana, and more.

These Wallet Addresses also as the basis for setting a Primary Name.

Example: An ETH Address is your Ethereum wallet address, and receives payments on that chain. Setting the ETH Address is also a first step before setting a Primary Name for Ethereum

Add Wallet Addresses

Add wallet addresses for different chains on your ENS Name. These addresses are what your name points to and route payments sent on each blockchain network.

Step 1. Edit Profile

Go to the ENS App, connect with the wallet set as the Manager of the name, Open the profile tab of your name, then click Edit profile.

Step 2. Add Address Records

  • Click on + Add more to Profile.

  • Scroll down and select the ETH option in the Address-section and click Add.

  • Type in the Ethereum wallet address you want to add to your ENS name and click Save.

Step 3. Approve Transaction

Click Open Wallet and confirm the transaction in your wallet. Wait for the transaction to finish. When you see Transaction Complete, your wallet address is now linked to your ENS name. You can then receive ETH - and other crypto payments - to your ENS name.
