The ENS Fairy Vault is a purpose-built multisig wallet that allows individuals, communities, and organisations to gift & safeguard ENS names. Whether you're giving a name to someone or depositing it for safekeeping, ENS Fairy makes it easy.
What You Can Do
ENS Fairy helps you:
Gift / Register an ENS name to a different address
Secure a name in a trusted vault (ensfairy.eth)
ENS Fairy uses a multisig wallet to hold names securely until they’re ready to be claimed.
How to Gift / Register a Name
Connect Your Wallet
Enter:
The
.ethname you want to giftThe recipient’s wallet address
How long to register it (in years)
Click “Register” and Review the Details
Click “Get Started” and Approve the Transactions
First, approve the Commit transaction
Wait 60 seconds
Then approve the Register transaction
Done! The recipient now owns the name.
Alternative: Use the ensfairy-App to Vault a Name
Visit ensfairy.xyz/deposit to vault a name:
Connect Your Wallet and select the name you want to vault
Click “Send to the Vault” and approve the onchain transaction
The name is now secured in the ensfairy.eth vault.
Send a Name to the Vault Manually via the ENS App
Visit app.ens.domains
Connect your wallet
Search for the name you want to send
In the Ownership tab, choose one option:
Transfer → Send (see Send)
Edit Roles → Change Owner (See Edit Roles)
Set the new owner to:
ensfairy.ethComplete the transaction.
The name is now secured in the ensfairy.eth vault.
